Reel Film is an award-winning video and animation production company, currently in the process of recruiting an organised, creative and committed Producer to join the team here at Reel Film. You’ll be working across our diverse client base in multiple industries and leading projects on a daily basis.
You’ll be working on video and animation projects as well as any other emerging technologies that we use in the work of production. You will be able to intercept, interpret and share important information effectively. You will be the go-to person for the production team, client and suppliers on specific projects. You will be project managing our clients budgets, timescales and objectives whilst co-ordinating both internally and externally.
This position reports to the Founder.
The role
- You should be highly organised and support running the production team across all video and animation projects, ensuring that content is delivered on time, on budget, and to our high production standards with excellent customer service.
- An expert knowledge of a film and animation production process from the initial concept through to the final delivery of a project is essential. You will run your own projects, while having oversight on the rest of Production to support the wider team.
- You will work closely with the Creative Director who will lead the vision for projects while you lead the organisation, crewing and production scheduling for the production.
- You are responsible for the projects you are given, you should be the driving force behind the production ensuring all elements are covered across pre-production, production, and post-production. A big part of your work will be pre-production, ensuring everything is planned and in place as well as post-production working with editors and motion designers, this is something you will be comfortable doing.
- You will have excellent communication and organisational skills. An ability to interact with clients and get the best out of the team around you, Delegating tasks to different members of the production team throughout the process while giving support where needed and getting the best out of everyone.
- You will be the first port of call when leading the production for a client and the production team through any problems or issues, help them solve the issues, and empower them to work with you on the solution.
- Ensure our current workflows and production operations are followed with clear communication throughout the team both internally and externally while working on improving our production systems and structures to enable growth within the department through our continuous improvement drive.
- Supporting our weekly and daily production meetings and PPMs
- You will work well under pressure and be a good problem solver. You’ll be comfortable working with third-party suppliers and freelancers as well as talent agencies
- Developing other members of the production team, such as your production assistants, is a key part of your role
- You must be comfortable with some unsociable working hours on evenings and weekends

Requirements
A Senior Producer with fantastic organisational skills and drive
Minimum five years experience in Production, preferably as a Producer
Full clean driving license
Has a positive and engaging style with a can-do attitude
Highly organised and can demonstrate initiative and ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects
Ideally, to have experience on business projects in B2B and B2B communications
A good communicator who can demonstrate the ability to engage at all levels
Demonstrates a collaborative style and seeks-out opportunities to develop the production department
Fluent in written and spoken English with good numeric skills
