Using short form video to demonstrate collaboration in a social value project between employers and students
Project Objectives
Ahead Partnership, an organisation that delivers social value projects asked to create a video of their collaboration with Arup, a national provider of engineering and architecture services to engage with 16 - 18-year-olds as part of Engineering Awareness Week. This video needed to showcase the journey, successes and challenges of the week for all organisations and young people.
Our Solution
We created a short video making the speakers the hero from Arup and the young people. We set the scene of what the week was about, what the students got out of it and what Arup needs in a future talent workforce. These interviews were complemented by shots of activities from day’s across the week to show how students progressed and learnt the fundamentals of engineering. This short snappy video with a tech vibe was used to promote future years and entice students onto the programme.
