Film to recruit the next generation of detectives in Yorkshire
Project Objectives
North Yorkshire Police came to us with the challenge of battling a shortfall of detectives to the point that it was becoming a risk to the organisation. We were required to create some inspiring videos that dispel the myths and motivate people to apply while showcasing a number of role models - men, women, young in service to very experienced.
Our Solution
We spoke with numerous detectives to research what the best parts of the job are and how to articulate this best in a story. We felt a narrative-based creative would be the best fit for this project, showing the detectives in a heroic way, making them front and centre of the film with supporting visuals and imagery to piece together an inspiring story. Different departments were filmed to showcase the range of work and opportunities.
Applications increased after the video was published by 33%.
